Jin Sun-yu (born December 17, 1988 in Seoul ) is a short track runner from South Korea .
She won the gold medal in the 1500 meters and the silver medal in the 1000 meters at the World Championships 2005 in China Beijing .
At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, she won gold in the short track over 1000 meters, 1500 meters and 3000 m relay. She was the first South Korean female athlete to win three gold medals at the Olympic Games.
