The steam locomotive "MAGNET" was a passenger locomotive of the Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB). It was the only machine delivered to the KFNB by the Longridge, Starbuck & Co. locomotive factory in Newcastle in 1839 and corresponded to the typical English machines with axle formula 1A1 (see " AUSTRIA " and " VINDOBONA "). The cylinders were arranged under the smoke chamber and drove the cranked second axle.
The "MAGNET" was scrapped in 1861 .
