KK Radnički Belgrade (officially: BKK Radnički Beograd ) is a Serbian basketball club from Belgrade . He became Yugoslav basketball champion in 1973 .
history
The association was founded in 1945. In the beginning you rarely had a chance against the city competition from OKK , the greatest period of the club was in the 1970s . At the beginning of the decade Radnički won his first and to date only championship.
In the season after winning the title, they qualified for the European Cup, in which they reached the semi-finals, which were lost against the Italians Pallacanestro Varese .
In 1976 the second cup came into the trophy cabinet, the Yugoslav basketball cup was won. Then they started in 1977 in the Eurocup and only failed in the final with an 86-87 defeat at Pallacanestro Cantù .
Over time, the association has developed into an elevator team. Relegations were followed by promotions, and since 2012 the 1973 champions have been back in the highest Serbian league.
