KWS (band)

KWS (also: KWS or KWS ) was a British pop group from Nottingham . The band name is derived from the first letters of the name members Chris K ing, Winston "Winnie" W (both as illiams musicians and producer ) and Delroy S t. Joseph ( singer ) exits.

biography

The trio had various top 20 hits in Great Britain in the 1990s. The third single release was already the biggest success of the band. The cover version of KC and the Sunshine Band's Please Don't Go was released as a double A-side with Game Boy . The single made it to number 1 in the UK charts , number 6 in the US charts and number 7 in Germany . The follow-up single Rock You Baby , a cover version of the 1974 hit by George McCrae , reached number 8 in the UK. By the end of 1994 another five singles with cover songs made it onto the English charts.
