Edgar Faure was Prime Minister between 1955 and 1956

The Faure II cabinet was formed in France on February 23, 1955 by Prime Minister Edgar Faure during the tenure of President René Coty and replaced the Mendès France cabinet . On February 1, 1956, the cabinet was replaced by the Mollet cabinet . The cabinet included representatives from Parti radical valoisien (PRS), Union des républicains d'action sociale (URAS), Action républicaine et sociale (ARS), Mouvement républicain populaire (MRP), Center national des indépendants et paysans (CNIP) and Parti paysan d'union sociale (PRUS).
