Charles de Gaulle was Prime Minister between 1958 and 1959

The de Gaulle III cabinet was formed in France on June 1, 1958 by Prime Minister Charles de Gaulle during the tenure of President René Coty and replaced the Pflimlin cabinet . After the Constitution of the Fifth French Republic was passed on October 4, 1958, the cabinet was replaced on January 8, 1959 by the Debre cabinet . De Gaulle himself then became the first President of the Fifth Republic. The cabinet included representatives from Parti radical valoisien (PRS), Section française de l'Internationale ouvrière (SFIO), Mouvement républicain populaire (MRP), Center national des indépendants et paysans (CNIP), Rassemblement Démocratique Africain (RDA), Union des républicain d'action sociale (URAS) and Center républicain (CR).
