Kabire Yildiz

Kabire Yildiz (also: Kebire Yildiz ; born January 1, 1960 in a village near Tunceli ) is a German social worker and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). On March 7, 2016, she became a member of the Bremen Parliament as a replacement for Anne Schierenbeck .

biography

Kebire Yildiz passed the Abitur in Ankara and studied economics at the Çukurova University in Adana from 1982 to 1986 with a diploma. She then worked for a private company in Ankara as a finance and personnel manager until 1994. After moving to Germany, she studied social pedagogy at the University of Bremen from 1996 to 2001 and graduated with a diploma . Then she managed social projects at Caritas . From 2003 she worked as a lecturer for integration courses.

Party and politics

Yildiz has been a member of Alliance 90 / The Greens since 2013. In 2015 she was first elected to Bremen's citizenship . In September 2015 the press reported that she had "caused a commotion" in a refugee shelter. Yildiz denied the allegations. In the general election in Bremen 2019 , it was re-established, but could not win a mandate.
