Around 1735 a brick barn was built near the village of Kablow . In 1788 the place was mentioned as "Cabelowsche Ziegelei". A housing estate was later built around the brickworks. However, the brick factory did not belong to the Kablow district, but was an independent administrative unit until March 1965. On April 1, 1965, she was given the official addition to her name, brickworks, and together with Uckley came to the Zernsdorf office.

For the year 1946 429 inhabitants were given in Kablow brickworks. In October 2010, the district of Zernsdorf including Kablow-Ziegelei, also known as the Zernsdorfer municipality area, had around 3,130 inhabitants (an estimated one third in the Ziegelei area).

After German reunification , the East German states were re-established and several municipalities were reorganized . Initially, the village was part of the new Lower Dahmeland office , and since October 26, 2003, Kablow-Zieglei has been part of Zernsdorf, part of the city of Königs Wusterhausen. The Spreeau motorway triangle and junction 9 of the A 10 (Niederlehme / Zernsdorf) are nearby . The area around the village is very wooded and rich in water. Here are the Uckleysee , which are connected to the Krüpelsee via the Zernsdorfer Lankensee . Uckley is on the opposite side of the A 10 and is connected to Kablow brickworks by a bridge over the motorway.

At the scene were clay minerals mined and in brickyards processed. There were several clay pits here , which supplied bricks primarily for the extension buildings in major cities, including Berlin. The mining stopped in the 1880s and the areas have renatured themselves and are covered with lakes and ponds.
