Location of Uckley in Brandenburg

Uckley is a residential area in Zernsdorf , a district of the city of Königs Wusterhausen in the Dahme-Spreewald district ( Brandenburg ). The settlement was rebuilt in 1747/49 on the territory of the Storkow office. It belonged to the Kablow community until 1965 and was reclassified that year. The settlement is located on the north bank of the Ukleisees and takes its name from this lake, but with a slightly different spelling.

location

The small town is located southeast of Berlin in the Dahme-Spreewald district . The Spreeau motorway triangle and junction 9 of the A 10 (Niederlehme / Zernsdorf) are nearby . The place is very wooded and lies on the banks of the Ukleisees , which is connected to the Krüpelsee via the Zernsdorfer Lankensee . Uckley is located northeast of the A 10 and is connected to Kablow brickworks and Zernsdorf by a bridge over the motorway.

history

The small town was first mentioned in 1747: by the so-called Uckeley Ablage near Friedersdorff. The name is certainly derived from the Ukleisee, which was first mentioned in a document in 1375. The sea name is derived from the Slavic fish name Ukelei ( Lower Sorbian : huklej ).

In 1747 the woodcutters Johann Friedrich Kobisch and Johann Georg Schultz wanted to build a house with a garden on the so-called Uckley See in the Kablower Feldmark near Friedersdorf, and sought permission to preserve a piece of land by means of a hereditary interest certificate. Obviously they got permission, because in 1754 two Büdner lived there. In 1775 the place is described as a wooden shelf, and three Büdner already lived there in two houses, two of them in an apartment building. Friedrich August Bratring describes Uckley in 1801 as an establishment with three residents near and belonging to Kablow. There were now three fireplaces . The 18 inhabitants were churched in Kablow. In 1858, 24 people lived in the three houses. There were also six farm buildings. The three houses together included one acre of farmsteads, 26 acres of fields and 10 acres of meadows. The meadows were enough to hold 15 cattle. In 1871 three houses are still mentioned, but now with 28 inhabitants. A fourth residential building was only added in 1895. However, the population had dropped to 20. In 1900 the Uckley Protected Area was established in the Royal Friedersdorfer Forest with a forester's position. In 1905/06 the forest service farm was built. The forestry department was part of the Friedersdorf Forest District, which was part of the Friedersdorfer Forest District.

Communal affiliation

The small settlement was created on the territory of the Storkow office . In 1801, 1817 and 1841 the hereditary interest had to be paid to the Storkow office. The Storkow office was dissolved in 1872/74. In terms of local politics, the settlement belonged to Kablow. With the formation of the administrative districts in the province of Brandenburg in 1874, Kablow with its brickworks and Uckley residential areas was assigned to the district 2 Friedersdorf of the Beeskow-Storkow district. Landowner Eduard Hermann Riemeyer auf Blossin was elected as the first head of office. In 1929 the manor district Forstrevier Friedersdorf was merged with the municipality of Kablow. In 1931 Uckley and Forsthaus Uckley were living quarters of the Kablow parish. In 1950 Uckley was the place where Kablow brickworks lived, while the Uckley forestry belonged to Wernsdorf as a place to live . In 1965, Kablow brickworks and Uckley including the forester's house Uckley were transferred to the community of Zernsdorf. In 2003 Zernsdorf was incorporated into the city of Königs Wusterhausen and has since been a district, Uckley is now a residential area in the district of Zernsdorf of the city of Königs Wusterhausen.

economy

In October 2016, 10 Nordex N131 wind turbines with a total output of 33 megawatts went into operation in the Uckley-Nord wind farm. In 2017, a wind park festival took place with the official opening of the Uckley-Nord wind park. The wind farm got the name of the small residential area, but is located in the Wernsdorf district.
