The Kahi Badi Forest Park is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .
topography
The area designated in 1954 with 1485 hectares is located directly on the Gambia River , in the Central River Region in the Nianija district and, to a small extent, in the Niani district . The approximately 2.5 by 6.4 kilometers area is located near Deer Island on the north bank of the river. The Kahi Badi Forest Park is about 20 kilometers away from Kuntaur .
The forest area, like the Nianimaru Forest Park , which is ten kilometers to the east, is located in a region where the numerous Senegambian stone circles can be found.
