Kai Bussmann

Kai-Detlef Bussmann (* 1955 in Flensburg ) is a German legal scholar and criminologist .

After studying law and the first state examination in 1981 and the second state examination in 1986, both in Hamburg , Bussmann received his doctorate in 1991 at the University of Bremen and completed his habilitation in 1998 at the University of Bielefeld . From 1997 to 1999 he was a substitute professor at the University of Halle . At the same time he had a teaching position at the University of Giessen . Bussmann has held the chair for criminal law and criminology at the University of Halle since 1999 . His research interests include: economic crime , violence in education and the evaluation of crime prevention measures.
