The house at Kaiserstraße 34 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt on the south side of Kaiserstraße, at the confluence of a passage to Bahnhofstraße and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to an inscription on the threshold in 1662. Other details give the year 1667. The initials AS and the depiction of a hatchet refer to Andreas Schröder as the master builder. Lush carvings can be found on the threshold. The front door of the building has a baroque skylight. Around 1820 a side window was installed on the ground floor, which may have served as a shop window.

In the yard of the property there is a massive kitchen wing.
