Architecture and history

The two-storey, simple half-timbered house was built around 1680. The upper storey protrudes clearly. In the left parapet there is a St. Andrew's cross . The walls of the first floor were replaced by massive walls over time. In later times the building was sometimes plastered. After removal of the plaster was on the floor threshold ship throats and on the Füllhölzern Karniesprofile rediscovered.

In the 1980s, the state of construction had deteriorated considerably. After the ceiling joists had broken, the facade of the upper storey had sunk significantly. The facade facing the courtyard and the courtyard buildings were largely destroyed. There was moisture damage inside the building. The demolition could be avoided because a new owner acquired the house and number 4 by 1994 and then renovated it. From 1995 the framework and then from 1996 the infill of the walls and ceilings was repaired or renewed. The walls facing the courtyard had to be largely rebuilt. Insofar as massive walls were used on the ground floor, these also turned out to be damaged and were replaced by half-timbered walls. The arches that originally led to the ceiling beams were redesigned. The main walls but also the stairs and doors were preserved and repaired on site. A half-timbered wing was added to the courtyard in order to increase the usable area.

On the courtyard side there is a well made with sandstone blocks , partly below the building line . There is also a small commercial building on the farm.
