Kalanchoe bipartita is persistent and reaches heights of 10 to 20 centimeters. The roots are bulbous, the simple, hairy shoots upright. The leaves are stalked. The almost stem-encompassing leaf stalk is 1 to 2 centimeters long. The oblong ovoid to broadly ovate, sparsely hairy to balding leaf blade is 3 to 8 inches long and 1.8 to 4.5 inches wide. Their tip is blunt, the base wedge-shaped or narrowed. The leaf margin is whole to flat or irregularly notched.

The inflorescence is a little-flowered cyme . The upright flowers are on 1.5 to 4 millimeter long peduncles . Your calyx tube is about 0.2 millimeters long. Their triangular to linear-triangular calyx tips are 2.5 to 2.8 millimeters long. The orange to red petals are spotted with purple longitudinal drawings. The cylindrical corolla tube is slightly inflated in the lower part and 12 to 14 millimeters long. Their egg-shaped, pointed corolla lobes are 3.5 to 6 millimeters long and 1.5 to 2 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached to the upper part of the corolla tube and do not protrude from the flower. The linear nectar flakes are 2 to 3 millimeters long. The cylindrical-lanceolate carpel has a length of 9 to 11 millimeters. The stylus is about 2 millimeters long.

The seeds reach a length of about 0.4 millimeters.
