description

Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe briquetii is a perennial plant with a simple, upright, slender and long hairy stem . The slender stalked leaves are alternate on the lower part of the shoots, above are opposite. The linear-elongated leaf blade is divided into three parts with three-lobed segments. The upper leaves are sessile. Its tip is pointed.

Generative characteristics

The short inflorescence is a zymous panicle with few flowers . The upright flowers are on slender, long-haired, 3.8 to 4 millimeters long peduncles . Their sepals are sparsely downy, the calyx tube is about 0.2 millimeters long. Their elongated triangular, pointed calyx lobes are 4.4 to 5.2 millimeters long and 1 to 1.5 millimeters wide. The petals are sparsely long-haired, their corolla tube is about 6 millimeters long. The somewhat elongated corolla lobes end in a long rib. They are about 3.5 millimeters long and 1.5 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached above the center of the corolla tube and protrude from the flower. The ovoid-round anthers are 0.6 to 0.8 millimeters long. The linear, blunt nectar flakes have a length of 2.2 to 2.4 millimeters and are about 0.2 millimeters wide. The carpel has a length of 4.5 to 5.5 millimeters. The stylus is 3.5 to 4 millimeters long.

The obovate seeds reach a length of about 1.3 millimeters.
