description

Vegetative characteristics

Kalanchoe campanulata is a perennial , epiphytic , bald plant that reaches heights of growth of up to 100 centimeters. Your erect instincts are simple. The thick, fleshy leaves are usually sessile and only sometimes have a broad petiole . The white frosted, somewhat spotted, linear-elongated, elongated to egg-shaped leaf blade is 8 to 10 centimeters long and 2 to 3.5 centimeters wide. Its tip is wedge-shaped, the base encompassing the stem. The leaf margin is notched regularly.

Generative characteristics

The inflorescence consists of dense ebony bouquets. It reached a length of 5 to 8 centimeters and carries numerous brood buds. The pendulous flowers are on 10 to 12 millimeter long flower stalks . The calyx tube is 2 to 3.5 millimeters long. The slightly triangular to egg-shaped, pointed calyx lobes are 4 to 6 millimeters long and 3.6 to 4.9 millimeters wide. The urn-shaped to bell-shaped corolla is red to orange-red and has a few glandular hairs on the inside. The corolla tube is 10 to 13 millimeters long. Their egg-shaped corolla lobes are 5 to 7 millimeters long and 6 to 8 millimeters wide. The stamens are attached below the center of the corolla tube and do not protrude from the flower. The egg-shaped anthers are about 1.5 millimeters long. The rectangular to obovate nectar flakes have a length of 1 to 1.8 millimeters and are about 1 millimeter wide. The carpel has a length of 7 to 9 millimeters. The stylus is 7 to 9 millimeters long.

The seeds reach a length of about 0.8 millimeters.

Systematics and distribution
