Kalanchoe miniata is a species of the genus Kalanchoe in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae).
description
The perennial, completely bare shrubs with initially prostrate, creeping branches that are later upright, reach heights of growth of 30 to 80 centimeters. The stalked, stalk-encompassing, toothed leaves are rounded, triangular and 2.5 to 8 centimeters long. The upper side of the leaf is spotted red. The inflorescence has a few pendulous, bell-shaped flowers that are up to 2.5 centimeters long.

Kalanchoe miniata is common in central Madagascar .
The first description was in 1857 by Carl Theodor Hilsenberg and Wenceslas Bojer . The numerous varieties are now regarded as synonyms of the species.
