Kalanchoe yunnanensis is a species of the genus Kalanchoe in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae).

Vegetative characteristics
Kalanchoe yunnanensis is probably a perennial plant that reaches heights of 40 to 60 centimeters. Their shoots , thickened at the base, become glaucous over time . The leaves are stalked. The petiole , furrowed on the top, encompasses the stem at its base. It is about 2 inches long. The narrow, elongated to oblong ovoid leaf blade is 7 to 10 inches long and 2 to 4 inches wide. Its tip is egg-shaped, the base blunt. The leaf margin is whole to slightly cupped.
Generative characteristics
The inflorescence is equilateral, 8 to 12 inches long and about 8 inches wide. The bare, yellow, upright flowers are on 1 to 5 millimeter long peduncles . They are 22 to 24 millimeters long. Your calyx tube is short and the triangular, linear calyx tips are brown. The corolla is ampoule-shaped and its corolla tube widens towards the base. Their egg-shaped corolla lobes are pointed. The stamens are attached above the center of the corolla tube. The egg-shaped anthers are almost spear-shaped. The rather long, narrowed carpel has a length of about 7 millimeters. The stylus is about 7 millimeters long.

The first description by François Gagnepain was published in 1916. The species is not well known.
