The Kalojan Nunatak ( English Kaloyan Nunatak ; Bulgarian Калоян нунатак Kalojan nunatak ) is an approximately 400 m high nunatak on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Delchev Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises immediately northeast of Sozopol Gap , 1.7 km east-northeast of Elena Peak and 3.5 km west-southwest of Renier Point . The Sopot Piedmont Glacier lies to the west, north and northeast of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named him in 2004 after Kalojan (≈1170–1207), from 1197 Tsar of the Bulgarians .
