Kalteck is a 750 m high saddle in the Upper Bavarian Forest , between the Vogelsang and the Hirschenstein . Kalteck is part of the municipality of Achslach in the Regen district . In addition to a few residential buildings, there are a few courtyards and a mountain hotel on the Kalteck. In winter, Kalteck is a local ski area with two tow lifts on three ski slopes.
