The 1022 m high Vogelsang is a mountain in the front Bavarian Forest southwest of the Lower Bavarian district town of Regen and northeast of the district town of Deggendorf and is located in the municipality of Bernrieds in the district of Deggendorf .
Together with the Butzen ( 775 m ) and the Hinterberg ( 666 m ) it forms the western foothills of the Bavarian Forest, which form the Graflinger Valley and separate the communities of Bernried and Grafling from one another.
Other neighboring mountains are north of Hochriedriegel ( 934 m ) and west of Riedberg ( 998 m ) as well as northwest of Rauhe Kulm ( 1050 m ).
