Kamilla Morais Sotero (born August 25, 1994 in Belo Horizonte , Minas Gerais ), often called Ka , is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
society
Kamilla grew up in a suburb of Belo Horizonte; at fifteen she became pregnant with a daughter. Until the beginning of 2015, she worked full-time as a waitress in her hometown and only played football as a hobby, when she was persuaded by friends to take part in a trial training session at the Rio Preto EC in São José do Rio Preto , where she was coached by Francisco Reguera Inojo was immediately signed for the club's women's team. In her first season she was used in twelve competitive games to win the title in the Brazilian championship. She made her breakthrough as a goalscorer in the 2016 season, in which she again reached the final of the national championship with the Rio Preto EC and won the state championship of São Paulo. For the 2017 season she moved to EC Iranduba in the Amazon , where she contributed to winning the state championship with sustained form.
For the 2018 season, Kamilla moved to SC Corinthians in São Paulo , which she strengthened together with her former teammates from Rio Preto, Millene and Adriana .
National team
During her time at Iranduba, Kamilla was appointed by national coach Emily Lima for the national team's senior squad on the occasion of the friendly against Germany in Sandhausen on July 4, 2017, in which she came to her only international appearance by substituting.
