← Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino 2014
The 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol Feminino was the third season of the national women's football championship of Brazil organized by the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF). The championship title won at his second participation of the Rio Preto EC from São José do Rio Preto .
The competition took place in the second half of 2015 between September 9th and December 6th.
mode
In contrast to the men's championship, which has been decided in a European league mode with an overall rating for several years, the women's championship is determined in a traditional Brazilian mode.
First, the twenty participating clubs compete against each other once in a first phase of the game, divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two in a group qualify for the second phase of the game with eight teams in two groups. In this phase, the teams play against each other twice in a return game. The two best placed in each group then qualify for the final round, which is played in a knockout system, in which an away goal rule applies. In the final round too, the matches will be decided in a return game, including in the final.
The final winner wins the Brazilian championship title and receives the starting place reserved for Brazil for the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores da América Feminino of the following year.

Foz Cataratas enters the competition as third place in the Copa do Brasil Feminino 2015 . The cup winner SE Kindermann withdrew from all gaming operations in December 2015 and cup finalist Ferroviária has already been set as defending champion of the Copa Libertadores.
