Gabriela Maria Zanotti Demoner (born February 28, 1985 in Itaguaçu , Espírito Santo ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
society
Gabi started her career as a futsal player with AE Kindermann in Caçador , with which she won the Brazilian Cup in 2005. In the same year she was appointed to the Brazilian national futsal team for the University World Cup in Turkey .
She switched to football during her studies at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire , where she successfully played college football from 2007 to 2009. In 2010 she played for one season for the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues in the USL W-League . With FC Santos , she won the São Paulo state championship in 2011 and, after the women's team was dissolved, joined the AD Centro Olímpico , with which she won the first Brazilian women's football championship in 2013. With twelve goals, she secured the first goalscorer cannon in championship history.
Gabi has been active in the women's soccer championship of China since 2016 .
National team
During her student days Gabi was appointed to the senior national team for the first time by national coach Kleiton Lima on the occasion of the Four Nations Tournament (Torneio Internacional) in 2009 . She made her debut on December 20, 2009 against Mexico (5-2).
In 2015 she was part of the squad for the World Cup and the XVII. Pan American Games in Canada .
