The Associação Esportiva Kindermann , AEK for short and unofficially known as Sociedade Esportiva , is a Brazilian sports club for women from Caçador in the state of Santa Catarina . He mainly plays football and futsal .
history
The sports community was founded in 1975 by the hotel chain operator Salézio Kindermann.
The AEK is the dominant women's soccer team in Santa Catarina and won the national championship for the eighth time in a row in autumn 2015. At national level, the team reached the championship final in 2014, in which they were defeated against the Ferroviária from Araraquara with 0: 3 and 3: 5. Against the same team they won the Brazilian Cup as their first national title in April 2015 with a 3: 3 and 5: 3.
On December 11, 2015, coach Josué Henrique Kaercher (35) was shot dead by a former member of the futsal coaching staff in a hotel in Caçador. The drunk offender had also intended to murder other club officials present in order to take revenge for his release a few days earlier, but was overwhelmed and arrested by the police. After this tragedy, the club's management suspended all game operations for an indefinite period of time.
On January 12, 2017, the club's founder and president Salézio Kindermann announced the return of his sports community to professional gaming for the upcoming premier season of the A1 series. The former coach of the women's national team Jorge Luiz Barcellos has been hired as the new trainer . Since the 2019 season there has been a club cooperative with the capital club Avaí FC .
