← Copa Libertadores Femenina 2018
The Copa Libertadores Femenina 2019 is the eleventh edition of the only international women's football competition for club teams of the South American continental association CONMEBOL . The competition will be held for the first time in Ecuador in a two-week tournament mode between October 11th and 28th, 2019. In contrast to the men's edition , all games in the tournament will be played without return games.
Tournament interruption
After the four opening games were still played on October 11, 2019, CONMEBOL announced on October 12, 2019 the interruption of game operations and postponement of the upcoming matches to a date that has not yet been set. The reason given was the general security situation, which was no longer guaranteed due to the ongoing violent protests in the Ecuadorian capital Quito.
