The Kamo ( Russian Камо , Левая Камо Lewaja Kamo , German 'Linke Kamo' , Каталанга Katalanga ) is a left tributary of the Stony Tunguska in the Russian region of Krasnoyarsk .
It runs in the western part of the Central Siberian Mountains . It initially flows in an easterly direction, later in a north-northeast direction. It flows through a deep valley. In the lower reaches it forms many narrow river loops . The Kamo has a length of 339 km. It drains an area of 14,500 km². The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . In spring it regularly causes floods . In the summer and autumn months, heavy rainfall causes high water flow . The most important tributary is the Tochomo from the left.
