Kamp (* March 1982 ; bourgeois Florian Kampelmühler ) is an Austrian hip-hop musician who has been active since the late 1990s.

biography

At the age of 16 he already appeared as an "MC", whereupon he was invited to the FM4 hip-hop show Tribe Vibes . In 1999 he gave a successful Eminem concert in Vienna , which led to the Dortmund independent label Deck8 (including Waxolutionists , Total Chaos ) signing him. However, this had to file for bankruptcy, which ended the partnership. From then on his publications appeared at Stiege 44 . At the beginning of 2007 Kamp was nominated for the Amadeus as “Best Alternative Act”. In 2009 he and Whiz released the album Versager ohne Zukunft , which was named album of the month in March 2009 by the German hip-hop magazine Juice . In 2009 he was nominated twice for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award . Kamp is also, together with the Austrian artist Michi Macht alias Michaela Altweger, the initiator of “am strom”, the annual festival for Austrian hip-hop culture from 2009 to 2011.
