The canton of Casa Grande is a municipality in the Potosí department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The Cantón Casa Grande is one of five cantons in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Mojinete in the province of Sur Lípez . It borders on the canton of Mojinete to the north, the municipality of San Antonio de Esmoruco to the west and south , and the Republic of Argentina to the east .

The canton extends between about 21 ° 51 'and 21 ° 57' south latitude and 66 ° 14 'and 66 ° 23' west longitude, it measures from north to south up to 10 kilometers, from west to east up to 15 kilometers. There are four communities in the canton, the central location is Casa Grande in the south-eastern part of the canton with 78 inhabitants.
