The Río San Juan del Oro (in Argentina also: Río Grande de San Juan) is a river in the Andes high mountains of Argentina and Bolivia .

The river has a total length of 388 kilometers, the first 46 kilometers of which are on Argentine territory. For the first 30 kilometers, the Argentine national road RN 40 runs parallel to the river. This passes the two villages of San Juan y Oro and San Juan de Oro . He then turns north towards the neighboring country Bolivia, whose border he reaches at the mouth of the Río San Antonio flowing from the west. For the next 56 km, the San Juan is the border river between the Argentine province of Jujuy in the east and the Bolivian province of Sur Lípez in the west. The main part of the river, namely the following 286 km, is on Bolivian territory. For about 160 kilometers, the San Juan flows more or less in an easterly direction, before turning north for the last 125 kilometers until it joins the Río Tumusla near the town of Villa Abecia and then the name Río Camblaya wearing.
