The Canton Istres-Sud was 2015 a French canton in the department of Bouches-du-Rhone and in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprised two municipalities in the arrondissement of Istres and part of its main town (French: chef-lieu ) Istres . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
