The Canton of Roquevaire was 2015 a French canton in the department of Bouches-du-Rhone and in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It comprised nine parishes in the arrondissement of Marseille ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Roquevaire .
When the cantons were reorganized in France, the canton of Roquevaire was dissolved. Almost all municipalities were assigned to the canton of Allauch . Only the previous canton capital Roquevaire came to the newly created canton Martigues .
The dissolved Canton was 126.55 km 2 large and had last 46,105 inhabitants, a population density of 364 Einw./km 2 equivalent (as of 2012). It consisted of the following communities:
