The canton of Posavina ( Croat. Županija posavska , Bosn. Posavski kanton ) is one of the ten cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina . The administrative headquarters are in Orašje .
The name Posavina translates as Savetal and describes the region in Croatia and Bosnia that lies on both sides of the Sava . However, despite its name, the canton only comprises a very small part of this region. With an area of 324.6 km², it is the smallest of the ten cantons.

It is one of the three cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the majority of which are Croatians .
