Pulpit in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines

The pulpit in the church of St-Clément in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines , a French commune in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in 1842. The wooden pulpit has been classified as a monument historique since 1977 .

The pulpit with a height of 4.38 meters was probably created by the cabinet maker Augustin Mercier. The simple pulpit basket with a pulpit wall without any jewelry stands on a slim, round base. Only the sound cover is provided with curved wood, it is crowned by a cross .
