The pulpit in the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Courçon , a French commune in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the second half of the 19th century. The wooden pulpit has been classified as a monument historique since 2005 .

The pulpit with neo-Gothic decor stands on a column with a hexagonal shaft. A sculpture of the Apostle Peter is attached to the pulpit . The simple sound cover is crowned by a cross .
