Kaplanhof is a district in the center of the Upper Austrian capital Linz . The former statistical district Kaplanhofviertel was expanded towards the harbor in 2014 and is now called Kaplanhof .

The Kaplanhofviertel is located in the north-eastern center of Linz. It is bordered in the north by the Lower Donaulände , in the east by a railway line, in the south by Krankenhausstrasse and in the west by Gruberstrasse.
