Karataş ( Turkish for black stone ) is a village in the Sarayköy district of the Turkish province of Denizli . Karataş is located about 30 km northwest of the provincial capital Denizli and 6 km northwest of Sarayköy. According to the last census, Karataş had 188 inhabitants (as of December 2010).
