Career

society

Bridji learned to play football at the Ajax Academy in Amsterdam . There he went through some junior departments and partially represented them as captain. While still in the junior division, he moved to the top Belgian club RSC Anderlecht in 2000 . After a year as a supplementary player, he joined league rivals Eendracht Aalst , where he was able to collect first match practice in the professional field. But even there it only lasted a year before he returned to Holland and signed a contract with FC Volendam . There he developed into a regular player and helped the club in 2003 to rise to the Eredivisie. But after the 2003/04 season, Volendam rose again. Bridji stayed for a year before moving to Helmond Sport . There he had his final breakthrough and scored twelve goals in 38 games. These performances brought him attention from other clubs, so that Heracles Almelo secured the services of the striker in the summer of 2006. Here he played in the Eredivisie until the end of the 2008/09 season .

In the summer of 2010 Bridji kept fit for a few months at RKC Waalwijk and finally got a contract with the second division team in September 2010 . After Waalwijk's rise to the Eredivisie , the contract was extended by one year. He returned to Helmond Sport in January 2013 . Here he stayed for a year and a half and moved on to the reserve team at Ajax Amsterdam . In 2015 he ended his active career there.

National team

Bridji made his debut for the Algerian national soccer team in 2006 when he was nominated for a friendly against Burkina Faso by then national coach Michel Cavalli . Before that, he had already played seven times for the U-23 in his country and was able to mark three hits. He turned down offers to play for the Dutch national soccer team several times, but has already played two appearances for their U-21 team .
