Karin Berière (born August 14, 1974 in Mönchengladbach ) is a former German squash player .

Career

Karin Berière first appeared on the WSA World Tour in the 1990s . She reached her highest position in the world rankings with position 116 in June 2005.

With the German national team she took part in the World Cup in 1998 , 2000 , 2002 and 2004 . Between 1997 and 2006 she was also in the squad at European Championships nine times . In 1997, 1999 and 2000 she became vice European champion with the team. She also represented Germany at the 2005 World Games , where she lost to Runa Reta in the opening round .

In 2005 she became German champion after beating Daniela Schumann in the final .
