Karin Lorenz-Lindemann

Karin Lorenz-Lindemann (* 1938 in Fürth , Middle Franconia ) is a literary scholar and freelance author.

Studied history, philosophy and literature at the Universities of Erlangen, Tübingen, and Göttingen. 1964 doctorate in philosophy (Dr. phil.) At the University of Erlangen. She is married to the philosopher Kuno Lorenz and has lived in Saarland since 1974.

For 25 years she taught literary studies at Saarland University and as a visiting professor at universities abroad ( Haifa / Israel, Olomouc / Czech Republic and Budapest / Hungary). Her literary books have all been published under the name Karin Lindemann , her scientific and essayistic works are named Karin Lorenz-Lindemann . The focus of her literary work is German-Jewish and Israeli literature .
