Karin Steyaert (born July 25, 1966 in Belgium ) is a former German-Belgian volleyball player .

After several international appearances for Belgium , she played in the German national team from 1988 to 1994 .

In Germany, Karin Steyaert first played for TuS Stuttgart from 1985 . A year later she moved to local rival CJD Feuerbach , with whom she was three times German champion and four times German cup winner . She then moved to USC Münster , after which she was active for TSG Tübingen , CJD Feuerbach and TV Creglingen again . For over ten years she was regularly represented in the top positions in the rankings of German volleyball. Karin Steyaert ended her long volleyball career after a comeback at the side of Renate Riek-Bauer at Allianz Volley Stuttgart .
