Karin Wagner (born August 12, 1951 ) is a former German handball player who played for the German national team during her career .

The goalkeeper first played at TuS Alstertal and in 1972 moved to TuS Eintracht Minden , with whom she won four German championships ( 1973 , 1975 , 1976 and 1978 ) and twice German cup winners ( 1977 and 1978 ). With Minden she also reached the semi-finals in the European Cup in 1974 and 1979 . Then she joined the VfL Engelskirchen .

Wagner played 51 international matches for the German national team . Among other things, she participated in the 1978 World Cup , where she achieved an 8th place.
