European Women's Cup (handball) 1978/79

At the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1978/79 took 21 Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften from 21 countries. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . At the 18th edition of the competition, Spartak Kiev won the trophy for the seventh time.
