European Women's Cup (handball) 1980/81

The 1980/81 European Cup was the 20th edition of the competition, in which 21 handball club teams from 20 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . In the final, Spartak Kiev prevailed against defending champion RK Radnički Belgrade and won the cup for the eighth time.

Maccabi Ramat Gan, Iskra Partizanske, Stockholmspolisens IF , TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen , Hypobank Südstadt , Frederiksberg IF, VIF G. Dimitrow Sofia, Paris Université Club, Skogn IL, CS Știința Bacău and defending champion RK Radnički Belgrade had a bye and went straight into it the last sixteen.
