European Champion Clubs' Cup (handball) 1992/93

At the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1992/93 34 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home leagues for the competition. It was the 33rd edition of the European Champions Cup and the last one under this name. The cup games began on September 21, 1992, the second final took place on May 30, 1993. In the final, the Croatian club Badel 1862 Zagreb was able to defend its title against the German representative SG Wallau / Massenheim .

mode

The competition started with a qualifying round with two games. The winners moved into the 1st round. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg.

The first leg in Zagreb took place on May 23, 1993, the second leg in Frankfurt on May 30, 1993. The second leg in the Frankfurter Festhalle was interrupted for about a quarter of an hour when water dripped onto the field during heavy rain.
