European Women's Cup (handball) 1983/84

The 1983/84 European Cup was the 23rd edition of the competition, in which 20 handball club teams from 20 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . In the final, last year's finalist RK Radnički Belgrad prevailed against TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen from the Federal Republic of Germany and won the cup for the third time. Teams from Poland , the Soviet Union and the GDR did not take part in the competition with a view to the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

Helsingør IF , TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen , Maccabi Harazim Ramat Gan, Hypobank Südstadt , CSKA Sofia, CS Știința Bacău. Start Bratislava, Skjeberg IF, Stockholmspolisens IF , Niloc Amsterdam, Vasas Budapest and last year's finalist RK Radnički Belgrade had a bye and went straight to the round of 16.
