EHF Champions League 1994/95

In the EHF Champions League 1994/95 , 35 handball club teams took part, which had qualified for the competition in their home leagues in the previous season. It was the 35th edition of the EHF Champions League and the European Cup. The defending champion was CB Cantabria Santander . The cup games began on September 3, 1994, the second final took place on April 22, 1994. In the final Elgorriaga Bidasoa was able to prevail against Badel 1862 Zagreb .

mode

Before the group stage called “ Champions League ”, a round of elimination, a round of sixteen and a round of 16 in a knockout system with a return leg were held. The winners of the round of 16 qualified for the group stage with two groups of four teams each, in which each group had a round trip against each other. The two best in the group played the winner of the EHF Champions League of the 1994/95 season in the final with a return leg.

Elimination round

The first leg took place on September 3, 1994, the second leg on 10/11. September 1994. An exception was the encounter between GTU Shevardeni Tbilisi and Lokomotiva Trnava, the first and second leg were played on September 5 and 7, 1994 in Trnava .

Sixteenth finals

The first legs took place on 8/9. October 1994, the second leg on 15./16. October 1994. OM Vitrolles and Handball Echternach had exchanged home rights.
