European Women's Cup (handball) 1981/82

The 1981/82 European Cup was the 21st staging of the competition, in which 21 handball club teams from 21 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . With Vasas Budapest , a team from Hungary won the cup for the first time . Before they won the final against last year's finalist RK Radnički Belgrade , they eliminated defending champion and record winner Spartak Kiev in the semifinals .

Vasas Budapest , SC Magdeburg , RK Radnički Belgrad, Hypobank Südstadt , Stockholmspolisens IF , Frederiksberg IF, Skogn IL, Rulmentul Brașov, Iskra Partizánske, VIF G. Dimitrov Sofia and defending champion Spartak Kiew had a bye and went straight to the round of 16.
