European Champion Clubs' Cup (handball) 1981/82

At the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1981/82 24 took Handball -Vereinsmannschaften from 24 countries participated, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries for the competition. It was the 22nd edition of the competition. The defending champion was SC Magdeburg . With Honvéd Budapest , a team from Hungary won the cup for the first time , in which they won the final against the Swiss representative TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen .

Vikingarnas Helsingborg , Helsingør IF , VSŽ Košice, RK Borac Banja Luka , TV Großwallstadt , Víkingur Reykjavík , Atlético Madrid and defending champion SC Magdeburg had a bye and went straight to the round of 16.
