Karinkallathani or Thachanattukara ( Malayalam : കരിങ്കല്ലത്താണി ) is a village in the Taluk Perinthalmanna in the Malappuram district of the Indian state of Kerala .

Karinkallathani is located between Perinthalmanna and Mannarkkad on the border of the Malappuram and Palakkad districts on National Highway 213 from Kozhikode to Palakkad, which crosses the Thootha to Vettathur road in Karinkallathani.
Surname
The name Karinkallathani is derived from the Malayalam word Athani , which describes a high stone bench on which loads were previously placed.
